The Cartier Santos de Cartier Dual Time is one of the newest icons of the Santos de Cartier collection. It comes in full steel, with a grey dial and shows the hours of a second time on a sub dial at the 6 o’clock location. Unlike most other Cartier de Santos models, it does not have a Cartier movement.

This Dual Time is cased in stainless steel and measures 40.2 x 47.5 millimeters. For sure it has the signature square-shaped case and a steel bezel with visible screws. And yes, the seven-sided faceted crown with crown guards and synthetic faceted blue spinel is there too. The rhodium-finish sword-shaped are luminescent, just like the indexes and flange on the dial. Above the sub dial for the second time zone is a small day/night indicator and there is a date window located at 3 o’clock.

The Cartier Santos de Cartier Dual Time has a power reserve of 48 hours

Inside is an unspecified automatic movement that is probably based on the Sellita SW330. A third party has adjusted the caliber for Cartier as the SW330-2 features a central GMT hand while this new Dual Time has an off-centered GMT hand. Plus, they added a day/night indicator as well. The power reserve is 48 hours.

This Santos de Cartier comes on a steel bracelet with an additional alligator leather strap. Both secured with a folding buckle and equipped with a quick-switch interchangeable system for an easy swap of the straps.
