The Vacheron Constantin Harmony Complete Calendar is one of ten new Harmony references just launched by one of the the oldest watchmakers in the world. This model is new to the series, with a new complication.

The Harmony series, with its classic cushion-shape case, is inspired by the first wrist-worn chronographs the brand introduced in 1928. This signature shape can be found on all models. At the beginning of 2015 Vacheron Constantin started the new Harmony series with a few limited models, the models launched right now are part of the standard collection. Characteristics of the new models: anthracite-colored numerals, a mellow opaline silvered dial, more contemporary font for the counters and a railway-track minute circle.

This Harmony Complete Calendar is available in 18K 5N pink gold and measures 40 by 40 millimeters. The date is indicated by a central hand which culminates in a burgundy crescent. The day and month appear through apertures in the upper half of the dial. The lower half is devoted to displays of the moon phases and the age of the moon. Astronomical indications which require adjustment only once every 122 years. This has become a kind of industry standard and we recently saw it with the Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date.

Then the new movement: it is the all-new self-winding movement, caliber 2460 QC entirely developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin. It beats at a frequency of 4 Hz and offers a power-reserve of approximately 40 hours. Of course it is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
