The new A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar White Gold is an addition to the 1815 collection, introduced in 2013. After a pink gold and a platinum version, it is now time for the white gold version. A timepiece with an unique combination of a rattrapante chronograph and a perpetual calendar with moon phase.

It is housed in a 41.9-millimeter 18k white gold case featuring a solid pink gold dial, with all its complications arranged in a well-organized manner. The calendar indication with the date and day of the week are at 9 o’clock, the month and leap year at 3 o‘clock. At the 6 o’clock position you will find the subsidiary seconds and a moon phase. The minute counter of the chronograph and the power reserve indicator are located at 12 o’clock. Around the dial is a traditional railway-track minute scale.

The A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar White Gold offers a power reserve of 42 hours

Inside the watch is a hand-wound caliber L101.1 with a total of 631 components. The function of the perpetual calendar alone has 211 parts, while the rattrapante chronograph mechanism involves 206 parts. A part of which can be admired through the transparent sapphire case back.
