Lovers of classic divers who want a less vulnerable and new watch, this Alpina Seastrong Diver 300 Heritage might be a good option. First, the name (almost) ends with 300, the traditional way of water resistance indication used in the 1950s and 1960s. Although brands sometimes also use it for new divers.

Design features of the Seastrong Heritage
The design features of the Seastrong Heritage are almost fully in line with the 1960s diver. A glass box, here in sapphire crystal, two crowns and a stepped-like dial with internal rotating bezel featuring a 60-minute scale. The crown at the 2 o’clock position operates the bezel, the crown at 4 the winding mechanism and time setting.
The large hands, with a triangle tip for the minutes, have luminescent material, and contrast strongly with the dial color. Which is either black, green or silver colored with a black inner bezel. The latter also sports a date complication at the 4 o’clock position.
The Alpina Seastrong Diver 300 Heritage has a power reserve of 38 hours
The movement of the Alpina Seastrong Diver 300 Heritage is the automatic Alpina caliber AL-520. Which is an adjusted Sellita caliber SW200-1 a or b (a has a date, b hasn’t). Reliable but not very powerful with a reserve of 38 hours.
The straps are leather in a matching color, not very suitable for diving. And the model with silver dial (and date) is about a 100 more expensive.
