As the official timekeeper of the extreme yacht race Arkea Ultim Challenge – Brest, the brand launches the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition. Which is available in two versions: one with a silver dial on a rubber strap and one with a blue dial on a steel bracelet. Both with a stainless steel case measuring 41 x 42.50 millimeters.

This Arkea Ultim Challenge – Brest is a round-the-world yacht race that started on the 7^th of  January 2024. Six competitors have sailed from west to east around the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin and Cape Horn. To link the watch with this event, the trident-shaped logo of the race is depicted on the dial.

The Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition has a power reserve of 38 hours

The dial is executed with a triangle pattern with clear, large indexes and large skeletonized hands. Other Seastrong models like this Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic have a unidirectional rotating diving bezel. However, these two Arkea models have a fixed, screwed steel bezel, probably for even more rigidity and durability.

The movement of the Alpina Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Arkea Limited Edition is the Alpina caliber AL-525. Which is an adjusted Sellita caliber SW200-1 a with a power reserve of 38 hours. The silver dial version comes on a blue rubber strap, the blue dial on a stainless steel bracelet, which adds about 400 to the price.
