With this Angelus Chronodate Titanium Storm Blue Edition the brand is updating its Chronodate line, now with two versions with a blue dial. They call it storm blue, a chronograph with metallic black sub counters, inspired by the brand’s 1942 Chronodate model.
The watch is housed in a 42.5-millimeter titanium case mixed with carbon composite, as the case has a modular multi-structure. The carbon is used for the chamber in which the movement is placed, and can also be found on the bezel ring and pushers. The black-ish carbon look creates a nice contrast with the metal looking titanium and the blue dial with black accents.

The Angelus Chronodate Titanium Storm Blue Edition has a power reserve of 60 hours
At the 12 o’clock position there is a prominent Angelus logo. The 30-minute counter is at 3 o’clock and the small seconds at 9 o’clock. There is no date window while the 1942 Chronodate had one at 6 o’ clock. But this new version has a peripheral pointer date hand that rotates around the dial. Other differences with the old model are the case size and the size of the sub dials.
Inside beats the self-winding mechanical A-500 caliber added with a chronograph complication. It delivers a power reserve of 60 hours. The model is available with a black rubber strap or with a titanium bracelet, which will cost you a little more.
