Another new version of the Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture: this is the Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture Edition Green. Which is the third version, after the earlier issued First Edition and Edition Blue. This Green Edition is also limited to 50 pieces.
It may be a repetition of earlier publications about the Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture but if you’re not familiar with it, here are some details. The watch is housed in a 43-millimeter stainless steel case and has a clear open dial. It has a green with grenage centre, a circular satin-brushed chapter ring and an applied polished baton indices-plated dial. Looking at in close detail you will find the time placed on the right side of the dial, with big hour and minute hands at the center.
Next to this there are two open-worked seconds dials with triple-arm-hands that can be reset and set up at the same time by the pusher at the 2 o’clock position. Then, the two exhibited regulators and the resonance clutch spring are on the left side of the dial, the primary component of this timepiece as the brand says.
The Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture Edition Green is all about accuracy
How does the mirrored force resonance work? Well, in short, it is a design to benefit the effect of natural automatic sync when two vibrating ‘things’ get close to each other. The advantages? It produces a reduction of the negative effects on timekeeping accuracy. To obtain the effect Armin Strom created two balances connected by a resonance clutch spring.
You can entirely see the hound-wound movement, the Armin Strom Calibre ARF21, at the see-through back of its case. And parts of it through the open-worked dial. The Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance Manufacture Edition Green has a power reserve of 48 hours and comes on a grey Alcantara strap with stainless steel double folding clasp.
