A rather small Royal Oak, this is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding 37 mm Gold Grey Rubber. But with a thickness of 12.1 millimeters it still have enough presence on anyone’s wrist. And hey, the first Royal Oak ever has a diameter of only 39 millimeters.
The 37-millimeter case is from 18-carat pink gold, and the gold bezel is coated with grey rubber to give it some extra sportiness. To match the gold and grey, the dial is executed in tones of ivory and rhodium (silvery-white) and then polished for some shine. The pattern of the dial is the renewed tapisserie motif, here with a large pattern and a grey inner bezel. The hour markers and trapezoidal hands are also pink gold, with luminescent material.

It’s a new movement (2022), only 3.9 millimeters thick and has a power reserve of 60 hours. Its oscillating weight is blackened 22-carat pink gold and the movement has Côtes de Genève, vertical, circular and sunray brushing, circular graining and polished chamfers. All a bit visible through the sapphire case back.
This Royal Oak comes on a grey interchangeable rubber strap with mosaic effect and 18-carat pink gold pin buckle. Which matches the grey bezel of course. And you will also get an additional black rubber strap with mosaic effect.
