Here is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 30th anniversary to celebrate 30 years of the Royal Oak. Although you would expect a design with a touch of the first model (reference 25721ST) it actually picks up the design of a 1999 model.

The name of that model is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore “End of Days” with reference 25770SN. And that model is created in collaboration with the American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who appeared to be a fan of the Royal Oak. He was born in Austria, a neighbor of Switzerland, and always showed great interest in high-end watches. If you have ever been to one of the famous watch fairs in Switzerland, you might have seen him there as a visitor. We did. Yeah.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph 30th anniversary is limited to 500 pieces

In the horror movie “End of Days” from 1999 he wears ‘his’ Royal Oak, a limited edition of 500 pieces. And this model, with black PVD coating and yellow accents, is the inspiration for the new 30th anniversary model.

It comes in a 43-millimeter black ceramic case with a black dial and yellow baton markers instead of numbers. Hour and minute hands are yellow too. Inside is the Audemars Piguet caliber 4401, an automatic with column wheel chronograph. It has a power reserve of 70 hours and is water resistant up to 100 meters.

The sapphire case back shows the movement’s polished ornaments and the titanium on the case back shows “Limited Edition of 500 Pieces” engraved. The Royal Oak Chronograph 30th anniversary comes on a black calfskin strap with textile effect and yellow stitching.
