The Bell & Ross BR-X5 Black Titanium is the newest BR-X5 version created using the lightweight material. Titanium is about one third lighter than steel and it has some specific intrinsic qualities. As titanium is a very light, high-strength, low-corrosion structural metal it is often for parts in high-speed aircrafts. Which connects with Bell & Ross’ aviation designs, and moreover titanium is hypoallergenic, so can offer more comfort for the wearer.

The 41-millimeter case is from grade 2 titanium and is micro-sandblasted for an anti-reflective matt finish. Of course, it has the signature square-shape case along with a screwed bezel. The four visible screws and screw-down crown guarantee a water resistance of 100 meters / 330 feet. The black dial features legible hands and indices with luminous effect. It has a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position and a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock.

The Bell & Ross BR-X5 Black Titanium has a power reserve of 70 hours

The sapphire case back reveals the automatic manufacture (in-house) Bell & Ross caliber BR-CAL.323. Well, it is a Kenissi movement, owned by Tudor and Chanel, adjusted by B&R. It is a COSC certified movement with an oscillating weight and a variable-inertia balance wheel. It sports a rapid date correction device and a power reserve of 70 hours.

This BR-X5 Black Titanium comes on a black rubber strap or on a titanium bracelet. The latter is around a thousand more expensive. Both the strap and bracelet are secured with a micro-blasted titanium folding buckle.
