The gold chronograph version of the Fifty Fathoms is the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Chronographe Flyback Full Gold. Which is very gold, especially when you go for the gold bracelet. However, if you want to take a deep dive with it, we recommend the versions with either a NATO or a canvas strap.
Gold or not, the design is still pretty much in line with the first Fifty Fathoms released in 1953. Here the unidirectional ceramic bezel with so called Ceragold indexes and dial are executed in gradient shades of blue. At the 9 o’clock position is a 12-hour totalizer, at 3 a 30-minute totalizer and at 6 the small seconds. At 4:30 there is a date aperture.

The case back is from sapphire crystal, and as said this new Bathyscaphe in gold comes with three strap options. A solid 18ct rose gold bracelet with gold folding clasp, or a dark blue NATO or a dark blue canvas sail strap. Both with a gold pin buckle.
