TB01341A1B1P1 (Speed Triple 1200 RR edition) – limited to 270 pieces
The collaboration between a watch brand and motorcycle brand leads to this Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Triumph and Speed Triple 1200 RR. Two models, that are more or less the same, and only one can be bought without a motorcycle. The regular edition of this watch has an anthracite dial with black chronograph counters and can be bought at Breitling. For the Speed Triple 1200 RR edition you have to buy the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR bike first.
It’s a dark monster on two wheels with a price tag of $ 25,995 or € 28.995 or £ 22,995 and only if you own one of the 270 motorcycles, you can request to buy the limited Breitling as well. The price is not provided but it shouldn’t be exceptionally more than the regular watch version. As only the dial differs, which is carbon with anthracite sub dials, and it is limited to 270 pieces as well.
Dark en gold bike, dark en gold watch
Both Triumph editions of this Breitling have a 42-millimeter titanium case with gold accents. You can find them on the bezel, pushers, crown, and hands and indexes. The anthracite and black or carbon accents can also be found on the motorcycle. Which has a few little Breitling references like a custom Breitling start screen, some Breitling logo’s and a gold colored badge on the tank.
And vice versa, the gold colors from the Öhlins front forks of the bike are reflected by the gold on the watches. Same for the dark, here and there carbon elements, that’s on the dials of both Chronomats. And the Triumph logo is on the central seconds hand. The number of the limited edition, engraved on the case back, matches the number of the limited bike.
The Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Triumph and Speed Triple 1200 RR has a power reserve of 70 hours
The engine of both watches is the automatic Breitling caliber B01, a COSC certified movement with column-wheel chronograph. Which shows central seconds, 1/4th of a second on a sub dial, a 30-minute totalizer and a 12-hour counter. At 6 o’clock on the dial there is also a date window, and the movement provides 70 hours of power reserve.
The Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Triumph and Speed Triple 1200 RR come on a brown leather strap with white stitching. The regular version has holes perforated in the strap and both straps are secured with a folding clasp.
