This Breitling for Bentley B06 Midnight Carbon is the latest version of the Bentley B06 series. It is a kind of black. Very black. And it is a kind of big. Very big.

Let’s talk about the size first. No one will ever miss that you are wearing a watch. It has a diameter of 49 millimeters so you have to have a firm wrist (and some muscles) to make it look good on yourself. Breitling wants to keep up with the current trends of black watches, the reason why they have launched a whole range of black time pieces.

Both the satin-brushed steel case and the bezel – with a knurled motif inspired by a Bentley radiator grille – are coated with a black high-resistance carbon-based treatment. The dial has a sort of off-black background which Breitling calls mother-of-pearl. As sort of blue we think. It contrasts with the matt counters and red and white indications. It looks sinister and cool at the same time.
