To make the Endurance Pro available for a broader audience the Breitling Professional Endurance Pro is now available in 38 and 44 millimeters. With some new and fresh colors as well. In the recent past you could only get the Professional Endurance Pro in 44 millimeters, but for small wrist that is clock size. To attract men and women (and all others) a 38-millimeter version in addition to a 44 is more than welcome.

The model is Breitling’s tough workhorse when it comes to serious outdoor activities, heavy duty jobs and more. The case is made from polymer with composite fibers, which you can call super-enhanced plastic, or Breitlight in Breitling speak. Lighter, stronger, more scratch resistant, hypoallergenic, and so on. It is outperforming steel and titanium, so it is almost indestructible.

COSC certified quartz movements

To ensure not only the case can survive the Apocalypse, the engine is also ready for whatever you can think of. It is a thermo-compensated quartz movement which Breitling calls a SuperQuartz. It’s 10 times more accurate than a normal quartz, according to the brand, and offers measuring timing intervals to 1/10^th of a second. To underline its precision, it is COSC certified as well.

The Breitling caliber 82 is used in the 44-millimeter versions, the Breitling caliber 83 is in the 38-millimeter versions. It’s the same movement however with another diameter to fit well into the case. The battery life is about two years.

Features of the Breitling Professional Endurance Pro 38 and 44 mm

The Breitling Professional Endurance Pro 38 and 44 mm are quartz chronographs with a date window between the 4 and 5 o’clock position. The chronograph has a 30-minutes totalizer and 1/10^th of a second indicator, plus a central chronograph seconds hand. At the 6 o’clock position is a sub dial for the small seconds.

The bidirectional bezel has a compass scale, and the inner bezel ring has a pulsations scale. So yes, the watch is suitable for real survivors, the reason why Breitling sponsors the so called Ironman. Which is a series of long-distance triathlon races (swim, bike and run) for which the brand earlier released two limited models: the Breitling Professional Endurance Pro Ironman 2023.

There is a price difference of around a 100 between the 38 and 44 models, and they all come on a rubber strap in a bright color that also matches the color of the inner bezel ring.
