The Bremont x Argylle Limited Edition is inspired by the movie Argylle, a British spy thriller by Matthew Vaughn. You might know him from The Kingsman sequel. Bremont has “translating the espionage intrigue onto the wrist”. We couldn’t find out how, but every watch needs a story right?
Bremont launches three watches named after the movie’s key characters: Argylle, Aidan and Elly. This 43-millimeter Argylle is a stainless steel version based on Bremont’s Solo 43 model, here executed with small seconds, date and GMT function. The dial is black metal with a diamond pattern with a 24-hour day-night track around it. It’s a pretty nice lay-out and good to read.
The Bremont x Argylle Limited Edition has a power reserve of 56 hours
Revealed through its sapphire case back is the automatic Bremont caliber BE-69AV with a decorated rotor. It has a Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring and a Nivaflex mainspring with a power reserve of 56 hours. The movement meets the chronometer rated ISO 3159 standard when it comes to precision.
The Bremont x Argylle Limited Edition is delivered on a black leather strap with pin buckle clasp. And the model is limited to 200 pieces only.
