The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Worldtimer pays tribute to the early days of jet travel with a modern update to one of the brand’s 1950s worldtimers. Designed originally for travelers needing a second time zone display, the Heritage Worldtimer offers a simplified world-time function with a design faithful to its predecessor. Including the classic case complication operated by a second crown.

Turn the left crown to rotate the internal city disc in order the match the time zone you are in. There are 24 cities and when you turn it to the city of your time zone each other city has its own 24-hour time indication. So, reading your home time is easy too.

Sunray silver or sunray black dial

The Heritage Worldtimer is available in two variants. First, an 18k rose gold limited edition of 88 pieces with a sunray silver dial. And second, a stainless steel version, which comes with either a sunray silver or sunray black dial. The case diameter is 39 mm, with a height of 10.25 mm.

The hands and indexes of this world timer match with the case, the sapphire crystal is double domed for a more vintage effect. The design of the dial, including the number of jewels printed on it, enhances the vintage style of the watch.

Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Worldtimer has a power reserve of 55 hours

The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Worldtimer is powered by the manufacture caliber CFB A2020. An automatic movement that offers a power reserve of 55 hours. This movement is certified as a chronometer by COSC, ensuring high accuracy. A key feature of this movement is Carl F. Bucherer’s signature Peripheral Technology. By placing the winding rotor on the periphery of the movement, it results in a thinner overall profile.

The A2020’s finish is visible through the transparent case back, showcasing the technical skill of its manufacture. The peripheral system has roots in Carl F. Bucherer’s historical innovations, and today it continues to represent the brand’s commitment to mechanical finesse.

Straps and pricing of the Heritage Worldtimer

The strap options include a black fabric strap for the rose gold model, fastened with an 18k rose gold pin buckle. The stainless steel models come with either a matching steel bracelet or a black textile strap, both equipped with a quick-release system. The closure on the stainless steel bracelet is a folding clasp, the textile closes with a steel pin-lock folding clasp.

This Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Worldtimer starts with a price tag of around 7 to 8k for the steel versions on a textile strap. A steel bracelet will cost you around 400 more. The limited gold model is priced around 12 to 15k.
