The new series of the Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral is a step forward in the variety of the steel Manero line. Six new two-tone dials, so six new colors, are a great and modern addition to the collection of one of the few independent Swiss watch makers on the market.

This model is housed in a 40.60-millimeter stainless steel case, which is just 1 millimeter smaller than the big date version from two years ago. But it’s all about the new dial colors. The Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral will be available in silver-white, black, blue, salmon, brown, and green.

They all have a sub-dial for the small seconds in either silver-white or black. With some base colors the contrast of the sub-dial is very subtle, with others it has a full contrast. The hands and markers are rhodium plated or rose gold plated, depending on the dial color, also to create a readable contrast.

The pricing of the Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral is very interesting

Inside the Manero Peripheral is the manufacture calibre CFB A2050, an automatic movement which is based on the second-generation A2000 launched in 2016. This one also comes with a bidirectional peripheral rotor to drive the mainspring in a more efficient way. The finish of the movement can be admired through the transparent case back.

The Carl F. Bucherer Manero Peripheral is a high-end everyday watch, which is underlined by the fact that it comes on a ‘practical’ rubber strap. It has a groove texture for a bit of leather looks and a quick-release system makes sure you can change it easily. The prices are just under Rolex Datejust 41-level.
