CFB has been sponsoring the Manta Trust since 2013, and this organization encourages the preservation of manta and devil rays and their habitat through research, awareness, and education. This year the research voyage leads to Ecuador where the world’s largest number of manta rays are. And these fascinating creatures are threatened by overfishing.

They will go to the waters around Isla de la Plata, a small island in front of the Ecuadorian coast where the team is going to spend two weeks studying. Of course, in order to find out the best ways of how to preserve these manta ray’s habitats. And their latest release is this 44.6-millimeter stainless steel Patravi Scubatec Verde. ‘Verde’ is French for green, and this color reflects the waters around Isla de la Plata. And it is the main color of this diver. The unidirectional bezel, dial and strap are green.
