The Chopard Alpine Eagle XL Chrono Titanium comes with a new alloy for the brand’s big sports watch, also available in steel and gold. And now in grade 5 titanium as well. This 1970s Gerald Genta-like design – think Royal Oak – is Chopard’s sports series, launched in 2019 to follow up their St. Moritz model. Somehow all connected to the Swiss mountains.

The connection here is the eagle living in the Alps. The dial design is inspired by the iris of an eagle. It has a black flange for the tachymeter and black sub dials combined with a textured “Rhône Blue” color. The chronograph layout is traditional with a 12-hour totalizer at the 9 o’clock position, and a 30-minute totalizer at 3. Small seconds are at 6 and there is a date with Rhône blue background at 4:30.

The Chopard Alpine Eagle XL Chrono Titanium has a power reserve of 60 hours

Inside the 44-millimeter case runs the Chopard caliber 03.05-C, a COSC certified automatic with tungsten rotor and a power reserve of 60 hours. You can see it at the sapphire case back with Alpine Egale Foundation engraving and a flying eagle. As a part of the proceeds from sales for this watch will be donated to the Alpine Eagle Foundation.

The Chopard Alpine Eagle XL Chrono Titanium comes on a matt black rubber strap with titanium pin buckle. And it is only available in Chopard boutiques.
