Its ethical 18-carat yellow gold case includes a bezel with hand-engraved details inspired by Mexican culture. The dial features a calavera design crafted from fine stone marquetry, which includes opals, aventurines, and black jade.

The Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Dia de los Muertos has a power reserve of 60 hours
This model houses the Chopard L.U.C caliber 08.01-L, a manual movement developed in 2016. The crystal protecting the dial and the gongs form a single piece, enhancing sound purity without using glue or screws.
A patented disengagement system ensures that the strike work pusher can be activated without risking damage, even if another strike sequence is in progress. With a power reserve of 60 hours, the movement is a testament to Chopard’s technical prowess and dedication to quality, certified by the Poinçon de Genève hallmark and COSC certified.
Movement decorations
The movement’s decorative elements highlight Chopard’s attention to fine details. The bridges are adorned with a Côtes de Genève pattern, and the non-treated nickel silver main plate and bridges contribute to the aesthetic harmony.
A hand-sewn burgundy alligator leather strap, lined with cognac-toned leather, complements the watch’s color scheme. The strap fastens with a hand-engraved folding clasp crafted from ethical 18-carat yellow gold. It’s a one-off, and the price is on request.
