The Chopard L.U.C XPS Forest Green is a sector-type basic dress watch that follows the current fashionable colors. The L.U.C refers to Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the watchmaker and founder of the brand in 1860. While the first launching of the L.U.C was in the 1990s, Chopard later released L.U.C XPS versions, with an ‘S’ for ‘seconds’.
This new XPS has a stainless steel case measuring 40 millimeters and displays a forest green dial. The color is obtained by a PVD treatment, adorned with rhodium-plated dauphine hands. And it has hour markers plus a five-minute interval minute track around the dial. The seconds counter is at a sub dial at the 6 o’clock position, the L.U. Chopard logo and Chronometer marking is below 12 o’clock.
The Chopard L.U.C XPS Forest Green has a power reserve of 65 hours
The automatic Chopard caliber L.U.C 96.12-L powers this timepiece. It has a thickness of just 3.30 millimeters reflecting the case’ slenderness of 7.20 millimeters. The entire movement, viewable through its sapphire case back, is COSC certified. It offers a power reserve of 65 hours.
