Back in 1924, Citizen launched its inaugural pocket watch, marking the beginning of a legacy in horology. Over the past century, the brand has consistently pursued innovation and quality, establishing itself as a significant player in the watch industry. This new model pays homage to that heritage while embracing modern advancements.

Dress Watch Size

The watch features a 40-millimeter stainless steel case with an 18-karat white gold bezel, offering a refined appearance. At 10.9 millimeters thick, it balances presence with comfort. The dial showcases electroformed patterns in a pure silver hue, inspired by the imagery of a glistening iceberg. It looks quite rough.

At the 6 o’clock position are the small seconds on a plane sub dial. Furthermore, clear Dauphine-style hour and minute hands and applied baton hour markers. At 12 o’clock the brand’s name and eagle logo.

Details of the Citizen caliber 0200

The Citizen caliber 0200, developed entirely by Citizen (with a little decoration help from La Joux-Perret), offers an average daily accuracy of -3 to +5 seconds. Which surpasses chronometer standards. It incorporates a free-sprung balance wheel, enhancing long-term precision, and a 22-karat gold rotor. The power reserve is about 60 hours, and the movement is visible through the transparent case back, highlighting its aesthetics.

The watch comes with a lacquered cowhide leather strap made from Himeji Kurozan leather, known for its durability and unique finish. This material combines traditional tanning and lacquering techniques, resulting in a lustrous appearance. The strap secures with a traditional buckle.
