The Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic is a budget-friendly mechanical watch with integrated bracelet that comes in a wide range of colors. All in stainless steel, however there is also one gold colored stainless steel version (about +150) for an even more luxurious feeling. As these watches really look pretty good for the money.

There are 12 color options for this three-hander with date. The latter is optically enlarged by a cyclops lens, which makes it even more look like a copy of a Rolex Oyster Perpetual. The diameter is 40 millimeters, and it has some presence with a thickness of 11.7 millimeters. The dials are gradient or circular brushed, some with rainbow colored lining on the indexes. The crown is Japanese style, so at the 4 o’clock position. And if you want to know, “tsuyosa” is Japanese for “strength”.

The Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic has a power reserve of 42 hours

On the inside is the automatic Citizen caliber 8210, which is probably based on the Miyota caliber 8215 as Citizen owns Miyota. It has a nice finish and a Citizen-signed oscillating weight, with a power reserve of 42 hours. The movement can be admired through the sapphire case back.

All the Citizen Tsuyosa Automatic watches come on an integrated stainless steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp. It’s a good alternative for the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80, for half the price (with half the power reserve).
