This Eberhard & Co. Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée is the limited edition of the new 1887 with flyback chronograph. 250 pieces will be made of this hand-wound EB, but you can also get the Eberhard & Co. Chronographe 1887 Automatique. That version has a comparable design, is not limited and has an automatic movement.
Just like the 1887 Automatique, this 1887 Édition Limitée has 41.50-millimeter stainless steel case. And it also comes in two versions: with a white or with a black dial. At the edge of the dial is a telemetric and minute scale to 1/5th of a second. A tachymeter scale in km/h in a spiral form in blue is at the center. The hour markers are not numerals but lines, polished, and embossed. Operating the chronograph goes by the pusher at 2 that starts and stops it, and the pusher on the crown is for the reset and flyback.

The transparent back reveals the hand-wound Eberhard & Co. caliber EB 280. Just like the automatic, it is based on the Sellita-owned AMT 5100 M, for Manual. It is adorned with the brand’s shield shape, Côtes de Genève finish, and personalized with the Maison’s foundation date (1887) and the engraved “E’’, all in blue. The power reserve is 63 hours.
The Eberhard & Co. Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée comes on a black alligator leather strap with a steel buckle with “E” shield.
