The Frederique Constant Classic Date Manufacture is the new manifestation of the Classic Date series, which can be considered as a dress watch line. The model gets a new in-house movement, the case is resized, and the dial design has changed. The new model starts in three different colors: black, silver and salmon.
The diameter of the stainless steel case is now 40 millimeters, just 2 millimeters smaller than the previous ones. The dial has a bright sunray pattern with slim applied hour markers in a silver color and diamond cut shape. The hands are silver colored too, and hand-polished. There is a printed minute track around the edge of the dial and at 6 o’clock is a round hand-indicated date. To avoid the “31” to bite with the “1” next to it, “31” is executed in red.
The Frederique Constant Classic Date Manufacture has a power reserve of 72 hours
The transparent case back allows the owner to view the new Frederique Constant caliber FC-706. It is an automatic with the caliber FC-710 from 2012 as a base. Thanks to a redesigned barrel the power reserve is improved from 38 to 72 hours. The finish includes fan-shaped Cotes de Genève.
The Frederique Constant Classic Date Manufacture is fitted on an alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching. The color matches the dial, and it is secured with a folding buckle.
