The Gerald Charles Maestro 8.0 Squelette Gem-Set 2024 is a new limited series of colorful open-worked timepieces. Basically, they are the same as the other Gerard Charles Maestro 8.0 Squelette models like this Rose Gold version. But the new series has a stainless steel case, a white gold bezel and a set of gems on the bezel that give the watch its colors.
The colors come from four different sort of sapphire stones, all baguette shaped, and each watch has 66 of them. In orange (3.28 carat) for the coral red version and in violet (3.15 carat) for the optical white version. Furthermore in yellow (3.22 carat) for the sunshine yellow version and lastly in turquoise (3.12 carat) for the ice blue one. The dial is fully skeletonized with grey anthracite bridges, the hands are gold or silver toned.
The Gerald Charles Maestro 8.0 Squelette Gem-Set 2024 has a power reserve of 50 hours
Inside the 39 x 41-millimeter case is the automatic Gerald Charles caliber GCA 5482, which can also be admired through the sapphire case back. The movement is only 2.6 millimeters thick and has a decentered rose gold micro-rotor. The power reserve is 50 hours.
The Gerald Charles Maestro 8.0 Squelette Gem-Set 2024 comes on an optical white, coral red, sunshine yellow and ice blue vulcanized rubber strap. The strap has a Clous de Paris motif to the top side, and Gerald Charles logo tapisserie to rear. And it is secured with a stainless steel pin buckle with GC logo engraved. Each model is limited to 10 pieces.
