The Gerald Charles Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon is a new version of the 9.0 model with tourbillon. Now with a very cool dial and some new features compared to the earlier released 9.0 Tourbillons. And for the record, GC already launched a tourbillon in their Maestro in 2005. Here the 60-seconds titanium flying tourbillon cage has three head screws in the shape of GC’s logo. And a yellow gold bridge that secures the tourbillon to the movement.

Although the tourbillon is the highlight of the watch, your attention might also go to the dial. It is made of pure, uncoated 18K rose gold, and hand-hammered. It has a refined texture and as it is all handwork not a single dial is the same. This also means that producing the model takes some time, as only two pieces per month will be made. All in stainless steel with a blue titanium bezel.

The Gerald Charles Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon has a power reserve of 50 hours

Gerald Charles’ caliber GCA 3024/12 is driving the watch. The movement delivers 50 hours of power reserve and has bridges that are finely decorated with colimacon, Cotes de Genève and perlage finishes. Furthermore, it has a radial Cotes de Genève finished bridge of the tourbillon, with polished anglage. The central oscillating weight is executed in 22K rose gold 4N, and vertically brushed and has Gerald Charles “honeycomb” motif with polished outlines. All visible through the sapphire case back.

The Gerald Charles Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon can be worn with a hand-stitched matt blue alligator leather strap. It is closed with a polished and sandblasted folding clasp, and the model is limited to 50 pieces only.
