This Girard-Perregaux Neo Bridges Automatic Titanium shows a new design style which makes this watch more affordable. Relatively spoken. It’s one of the few models in the Bridges collection without a tourbillon and without the characteristic three bridges design. Which goes back to the early 1900s when Girard-Perregaux launched a tourbillon pocket watch with three golden bridges.

The new design looks modern. A 45-millimeter brushed titanium case and a movement with several gray tones responds to current trends. Legibility isn’t that good with those metal colored hands on a gray background but they are big enough to read the time.

The price of the Girard-Perregaux Neo Bridges Automatic Titanium is very interesting

Don’t be fooled by what you think you see. It hasn’t two barrels (at 10 and 2 o’clock): these are the mainspring barrel and the automatic rotor. And where you expected a tourbillon at 6 there is a large variable-inertia balance wheel. The bigger, the more accurate. Nevertheless, it looks great.

Inside the Girard-Perregaux Neo Bridges Automatic Titanium is GP’s new caliber GP08400 providing a power reserve of 50 hours. The back case is transparent and although we have no photos of that, it isn’t very interesting. Check the video below. The skeletonized dial is the main attraction. Well, and its price.
