For the 10th biennial charity auction of Only Watch this Girard-Perregaux Neo Constant Escapement Only Watch is a marvelous contribution. GP is a devoted supporter of this good cause and is participating in Only Watch since 2007. This one-off timepiece has a design inspired by the Girard-Perregaux Constant Escapement L.M. model that was introduced in 2008. Now, it is executed with a pink gold case and more technical advancements.
The case measures 45 millimeters with a thickness of 14.80 millimeters and is made of 18k pink gold. And yes, it has the renewed bridge compilation, and displays an open-worked dial with a detailed view on the mechanism. This features two barrels and a unique silicium blade that buckles back and forth. The silicium components in purple are a highlight on the monochromic dial, and at 9 o’clock there is a power reserve indicator.

Inside the watch is a hand-wound Girard-Perregaux caliber GP09200-2196. A movement which is COSC certified and supplies hours, minutes, central seconds, and the aforementioned power reserve indicator. Its constant escapement ensures that there is a stable supply of power from the slowly unwinding spring barrel to the regulating organ. Which enhances the precision of the movement but also protects it from possible harm.
The Girard-Perregaux Neo Constant Escapement Only Watch comes on a black rubber strap with a fabric-effect appearance. The pink gold triple folding buckle matches the case.
