We have seen original and unique creations by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey. Like the recent Greubel Forsey Grande Sonnerie. Their latest one is the Greubel Forsey Balancier White Gold with a fully visible balance wheel. No tourbillon this time.
The case is asymmetrical; a bulge houses the balance wheel and this shape has become a sort of design signature for the brand. Somehow your eyes are immediately attracted to that part of the watch. Which is a perfectly finished part. Take a look at the details. The time and materials spend only to finish that part of the watch raises the price, although it is one of the most affordable models of GF. Besides the balance wheel almost every part of the watch is hand-finished.

The hour ring and the seconds ring are from gold and are flat black polished and matt lapped to create this gray and gold tones, and a grainy affect.
