The Grönefeld Parallax Tourbillon is one big limited edition. All four editions are either unique or very limited. The platinum version with black dial is limited to 1 piece. There are 5 platinum editions with salmon dial, 28 pieces in red gold and 12 in stainless steel. Unfortunately, the platinum edition is sold out.

We find the origin of the Parallax Tourbillon in 2014 when two Dutch brothers, Tim and Bart Grönefeld, introduce the piece. A unique watch that went on to win the prestigious Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix 2014 in the ‘tourbillon’ category.

The Grönefeld brothers pride themselves in subtle complications with extreme precision. For example: with the Parallax tourbillon you can stop the running seconds and tourbillon with the crown and that way make them run in sync for extreme precision.

The Grönefeld Parallax Tourbillon has a power reserve of 70 hours

With this ability to set the time to the second it makes the Grönefeld Parallax Tourbillon more accurate than a lot of the tourbillons that we find on the market nowadays. For a hefty amount of money, but that’s the price you pay for accuracy and the most creative and innovative use of complications in the watch world today.

The dial shows the hours and minutes on a sub-dial between the 1 and 2 o’clock position, off-centered. For the seconds there is a large central hand. Between 10 and 11 o’clock is the power-reserve indicator and at 4 o’clock is a switch showing whether the crown is in winding or in setting mode. The most prominent visual is a raised flying tourbillon at 8 o’clock. The in-house developed caliber G-03 delivers 70 hours of power
