Why? The innovative brand has created a perpetual calendar in stainless steel with a relatively simple dial. A piece of trivia: the perpetual calendar complication developed by H. Moser & Cie has won the prestigious Grand Prix de Horlogerie de Geneve in 2006.

Earlier H. Moser launched a gold version of this model. The H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Perpetual Calendar Steel combines the minimalism of the first center-seconds handed model with a classic midnight blue fumé dial.

From the back of the watch, the H. Moser perpetual calendar HMC 800 caliber can be seen through the curved sapphire crystal case back. A combination of ingenuity and complexity, enhancing a complication executed with absolute simplicity, the HMC 800 caliber guarantees a minimum power reserve of 7 days. Very handy when you are working with something as a perpetual calendar.

The configuration of the calendar is, as we said, subtle. A big date at 3 o’clock, a small central hand for the month, a power-reserve indicator at 9 o’clock and a leap year indicator can be found on the movement side.

The steel Pioneer Perpetual Calendar from H. Moser & Cie is a more robust/rugged version of their perpetual calendar. Also more affordable, relatively speaking that is.
