Two new variants in the Streamliner series, the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green and Purple Haze. Or maybe we should say that it is one variant, a model with central seconds that was not part of the series yet, available in two colors. Which cannot be missed as these colors almost pop off the dial.
Both come with a 40-millimeter stainless steel case, and both have this sunburst fumé design on the dial: the color darkens from the center to the edge of the dial. Matrix green could refer to the green old computer screens from the 1970s and 1980s. Or the green code in the movie The Matrix.
Anyway, it looks good, and so does the purple haze, which can refer to Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 song “Purple Haze”. But we’re not sure, and Moser doesn’t explain these color names. In order to not disturb the splashing color, the H. Moser & Cie. logo on the dial is applied with transparent lacquer.
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green and Purple Haze has a power reserve of 72 hours
This classic three-hander is driven by the automatic H. Moser & Cie caliber HMC 201 that also drives the H. Moser & Cie Pioneer Centre Seconds Green editions. 72 hours of power reserve, here with an engraved solid 18-carat gold oscillating weight. The movement has an anthracite finish with partially skeletonized bridges and can be admired through the sapphire case back.
The case of the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Centre Seconds Matrix Green and Purple Haze has no lugs. The bracelet, executed in stainless steel, is directly attached to the case.
