The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba 37 mm is a compact and all-round diver featuring a quartz movement. Which makes this watch affordable for a larger audience. And the cool thing about it is that its design is inspired by US military divers. So now it’s also available in army green.

After Hamilton’s founding in 1892 and producing pocket watches, the brand focusses on producing wristwatches for the US military during World War I. Which extends to producing over 1 million watches for the US military during World War II. That heritage is still alive today as you can see with this 37-millimeter model with a deep green dial.

The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba 37 mm has a quartz movement with a battery life of 94 months

The watch has a stainless steel case with an aluminum unidirectional bezel in green. Just to match the green dial of course. The nickeled gray-ish hands are filled with super-luminova and the inner circle of the dial shows a 24-hour scale in stead of the traditional 1 to 12 counting.

Inside is an ETA F06.105 quartz movement, which is a so called HeavyDrive type. Which means it can handle heavier hands without losing its precision. And it has an end-of-life indicator with a battery life of 94 months.

The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba 37 mm has a screw-down case back and screw-down crown in order to make it suitable for scuba diving. As it can withstand 10 bar of pressure. It comes on a green NATO textile strap. Other dial colors and straps are also available, but we think this is the one to have.
