The Hamilton Ventura Edge Dune is the second model of the collaboration with Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures. The first model is the Hamilton Ventura XXL Bright Dune, a quartz with regular hands. This new one is a quart too, with a digital display of the time.
The time is displayed in blue, a nod to the color of the eyes of the people who live on/in Dune in the movie. This Edge model is a little bit smaller than the XXL model: 51.05 x 47.15 millimeters. The case is also triangle shaped, from stainless steel and coated with black PVD. It has a thickness of 13.8 millimeters.
The Hamilton Ventura Edge Dune is powered by a quartz movement
The model has a black dial with blue accents and the time shows in blue when activated through a push-button found in the crown. This is all driven by an unknown quartz movement inside.
The Hamilton Ventura Edge Dune comes on a black rubber strap with pin buckle. It also comes with a commemorative packaging inspired by the film. The watch is limited to 2,000 pieces.
