The Hermès Slim d’Hermès Flagship is a new limited addition to the Slim d’Hermès collection. This collection, launched in 2015, has become known for its minimalist and elegant designs and this latest release takes inspiration from the brand’s main store in Paris. In a cartoonesque way.
Its 39.5-millimeter gold case holds a dial that is engraved with a relief image of a ship in the form of a building. Which is Hermès its flagship store at the 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. And when you mix the terms ‘flagship’ and ‘store’ you will end up with a picture like this.
Aventurine dial inspired by a silk scarf
The dial is from aventurine glass, which has this sparkling shimmer that looks like the sky by night. Furthermore, the dial is adorned with the aforementioned flagship in a miniature painting on a gold applique. At the 4 o’clock position is a mobile star.
The picture of the flagship is inspired by a design by Dimitri Rybaltchenko. He designs a lot of things, among silk scarves for the prestigious brand. These are 550 dollar / 495 euro scarves available in different colors.

This Hemès Slim d’Hermès Flagship is powered by the ultra-thin Hermès caliber H1950. An automatic movement, developed in-house, that is only 2.6 mm thick. It has a power reserve of 48 hours and it is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
The watch comes on a blue alligator leather strap and is limited to 12 pieces only. The price tag is nearly 100’000 Swiss francs, so about 112k in dollars and 104k in euros. Excluding taxes.
