HYT launches two new variants of their Moon Runner: the HYT Moon Runner Ghost with grey tones and the HYT Moon Runner Desert with sand-ish looks. Both provide a detailed view of the visible part of the moon, seen from earth. These half-spheres of almost 12 millimeters includes craters and shadows, has super-luminova on it and is hand-painted.
The 48 x 52.3 millimeter case contains the hand-wound HYT caliber 601-MO which provides a power reserve of 72 hours and has HYT’s ‘pumping system’. A black liquid is pumped through a borosilicate capillary tube and shows the hours in the edge of the dial. When full, it retrogrades back to zero. The minutes are shown by a triangle hand the peaks out behind the central spectacle.
The HYT Moon Runner Ghost & Desert are limited to 15 pieces
There, in the center, the moon phase is shown in a three dimensional way. Around the moon phase there are two titanium rings; one showing the date and one showing the month. And behind these discs the minute hand rotates. All the important information on the dial has super-luminova.
The HYT Moon Runner Ghost has a titanium with carbon case, while the Desert has the same case but black coated. And both come on a matching strap. The dial of the Ghost is matt black combined with titanium tones – which is a bit grey/sliver. The dial of the Desert is matt black with beige and sand color tones.
Both the HYT Moon Runner Ghost & Desert are limited to 15 pieces.
