HYT launches three new iterations of the T1 with HYT T1 Series Millésime. It’s a follow up of the HYT T1 Series Titanium and Gold released earlier in 2024 with four dial colors in titanium and gold. These three new models also have different dial colors, and also come in either titanium or gold.
The three new colors are green and purple with a titanium case, and chocolate with a gold case with titanium elements. These colors are a coating that is applied to a brass plate. The hours are indicated by red or black fluid that is pumped into a borosilicate capillary tube. The minutes are indicated by a large central hand. Between the 2 and 3 o’clock position on the dial is a power reserve indicator, also with a hand.
The hand-wound HYT T1 Series Millésime has a power reserve of 72 hours
The HYT T1 Series Millésime runs on the hand-wound HYT caliber 501-CM, an ingenious movement with two alloy bellows that push the fluid into the glass tube. One bellow contains a colored fluid, the other has a transparent fluid. The colored fluid shows the hours and hours that have passed, the transparent fluid fills the hours to come. Without mixing of course. After 12 hours of running the fluid will return to “zero” in a retrograde motion. The total power reserve is 72 hours.
These new T1’s come with two rubber straps. One in black, with a pin buckle in titanium or titanium black DLC, and one in the color of the dial. All three models are limited editions although the actual number it is not decided yet.
