In partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”, IWC unveils two versions of the IWC Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month. They are inspired by the red and blue luminous prop watches supplied by IWC for the film’s production. The exclusive all-black versions, featuring either a red or blue luminous effect, are now available in limited editions of 25 pieces each.
The models are crafted in a huge 49 millimeter ceratanium case, offering a combination of lightness and structural integrity of titanium with the hardness and scratch resistance like ceramic. The first model has red super-luminova on the dial, hands, and the inside of the uni-directional rotating bezel. Same for the second model but then in blue.
A calendar, chronograph and diver combined
The watches feature a perpetual calendar with digital displays, showcasing the date at 9 o’clock and the month at 3 o’clock. Both through rotating discs in a digital format, which are partly visible behind a wire-like construction covering the unused numerals. The leap year is at 6 o’clock.
This Aquatimer also has a chronograph complication, with a central chronograph seconds hand. At the 12 o’clock position there is a combined hour and minute totalizer, the small seconds are at 6 o’clock. However, the model stays a true diver, with an internal rotating bezel system for setting the dive time. These Aquatimers boast an water resistance of 100 meters / 330 feet.

Powering the IWC Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month is an automatic IWC caliber 89802. It is visible through the sapphire case back and offers a power reserve of 68 hours.
This perpetual calendar with chronograph comes on a black rubber strap secured with a ceratanium pin buckle.
