It’s not a big deal, however the IWC Portofino Chronograph 39 Stainless Steel Bracelet is a new-ish addition to the stylish Portofino collection. What’s new? The 5-link stainless steel bracelet. As Portofino models normally come on a leather strap, being the more classic line of the IWC collection.
Not really shocking but it’s a nice addition, possibly in order to attract more people to the Portofino as well. As it looks way more sporty with a steel bracelet. Although the lines with the Ingenieur, Pilot’s Watches and even the Portugieser offer sportiness as well. The latter has even more models with a steel bracelet than we thought.

Apart from the bracelet nothing has changed. Inside the IWC Portofino Chronograph 39 Stainless Steel Bracelet runs the IWC caliber 69355. A column-wheel chronograph with two registers; a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock and small seconds at 6. Here presented on a silver-plated dial with circular sub dials. The power reserve is 48 hours.
Its 5-link stainless steel bracelet combines brushed and satin-finished links, thus a mix of glossy and matt. The bracelet has a stainless steel folding clasp and an integrated quick-change system. Just in case you want to wear your Portofino on a leather strap.
