The watches are part of a new partnership between the American watch brand and English football club. And apart from this Epic X Chrono 44 model there is also a Jacob & Co. Epic X Sport Edition Manchester City as well. But let’s look at this 44-millimeter chronograph.
Only the case differs between the two limited models. The gold/ceramic one also has a ceramic bezel, the gold one has a gold bezel. Both have blue ceramic pushers and a blue rubber crown. And to balance the case design the pusher guards are echoed on the other side of the case.
Manchester City logo
Not only can you find the iconic Manchester City sky blue all over the watches, the logo of the club is there too. It is integrated in the 30-minute counter of the chronograph at the 3 o’clock position. This counter has a light blue aluminium flange, the small seconds at 9 o’clock as well.
The open-worked dial itself is from blue mineral crystal with rose gold X bars and a light blue aluminium flange. The bâton hour and minute hands are skeletonized with a white super-luminova top, and all hands are from rose gold.
