The Jacob & Co. Epic X Chrono 47 mm Carbon Forged Poker is a new addition to the 47-millimeter chronograph collection of JC. They launched this collection in 2016 and the design is based on the “epic X”, the letter that can symbol a cross, or something unknown. You can see this X design when looking at the case and its pushers and guards. Although it shows better with the open-worked models.

This new version has a closed dial, in black and from forged carbon. Which also comes back on the case, bezel, pushers, crowns and guards, combined with DLC coated titanium. A special feature of this rather huge chronograph is the inner bezel, which can rotate. The crown at 10 o’clock drives this inner ring so you can use it as a 60-minute timer for instance. Or a 60-second timer if you coordinate it with the central chronograph seconds hand. Of course, you can also set it as a countdown timer.
