Longines introduces the Conquest Chrono Ski Edition, a watch celebrating the 48th FIS Alpine World Ski Championships set for 2025 in Saalbach, Austria. This limited-edition chronograph, restricted to just 2025 pieces, captures the brand’s dedication to alpine skiing.

With a heritage tracing back to Longines’ early 20th-century timekeeping in skiing, the Conquest line holds a legacy rooted in precision and sport. This Conquest line was the first from Longines to receive the Swiss Federal trademark protection back in 1954.

New anthracite dial

The new Conquest Chrono measuring 42 millimeters in diameter and 14.3 millimeters thick, provides a bold presence on the wrist. It comes in stainless steel and incorporates a black ceramic insert with a tachymetric scale on the bezel.

It has an anthracite dial contrasting with the black sub dials and counters, enhancing readability in diverse conditions. Rhodium-plated hands with green super-luminova add to this watch’s legibility. Small seconds are at the 3 o’clock position. Furthermore, there is the traditional 12-hour counter at 6 and a 30-minute counter at 9.

The Longines Conquest Chrono Ski Edition has a power reserve of 59 hours

The Conquest Chrono Ski Edition is driven by the Longines caliber L898.5. This automatic movement includes a silicon balance spring, providing substantial resistance to magnetic forces. It has a 59-hour power reserve. The angled screw-down case back is engraved with a skier emblem, representing the 2025 World Championships. In addition, engravings along the edge mark “Saalbach 2025” and identify each piece as “One of 2025”.

For the strap, buyers can choose between a stainless steel bracelet with a triple-security folding clasp and an additional black rubber strap with a double-security folding clasp. Both options feature a micro-adjustment system, allowing for quick, comfortable adjustments. Are you more of a fan of blue? Take a look at this limited Longines Conquest Marco Odermatt.
