The Longines Conquest Marco Odermatt is the result of a collaboration between the Swiss watch brand and the Swiss skier Marco Odermatt. He is a World Cup alpine ski racer who races in giant slalom and speed disciplines. In 2022, he won the gold medal in the giant slalom for Switzerland at the Winter Olympics. And in the final FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup giant slalom 2023 he reached a new record with 2,042 points, the highest number of points obtained in a single season by a male skier. Which is why this watch is a limited edition of 2,048 pieces.

It is housed in a 42-millimeter stainless steel case, with a blue ceramic bezel with a tachymetric scale. The dial is executed with a sunray pattern in blue with sub-counters in matt silver. There are silvered polished hands and applied indexes filled with super-luminova while the counters at 6 and 9 have hands in red. And so is the tip of the central chronograph seconds hand.

The Longines Conquest Marco Odermatt has a power reserve of 59 hours

The automatic Longines caliber L898.5 drives this Conquest. It has a silicon balance-spring, rendering a magnetic resistance ten times greater than the ISO 764 benchmark. It delivers a power reserve of 59 hours. The movement is partly visible through the screw-down case back with a decal of the crystal globe on the inside of the sapphire glass. The stainless steel on the back also has a special engraving “MARCO ODERMATT EDITION, ONE OF 2042”.

This Longines Conquest Marco Odermatt comes on a blue fabric strap with white stitching and four red stitches, echoing the color of the hands. It is secured with a folding clasp with micro-adjustment. An additional NATO strap in the same color is also provided.
