A new dress watch by Longines in the Heritage series (Est. 1957): the Longines Flagship Heritage Moon Phase. It is one of the more affordable automatic watches on the market with a moon phase complication, and this one comes in three different colors.
Within the 38.5-millimeter stainless steel case, with a redesigned outlook, you can choose from a sunray silver dial, an opaline silver dial, or sunray blue dial. All with the moon phase at 6 o’clock. And the moon phase is encircled by a date track, and the date is indicated by a hand in the middle of the moon phase. Usually a solution when the dial is full of other complications and one needs to save space, here it keeps the dial more clean.
The Longines Flagship Heritage Moon Phase has a power reserve of 72 hours
Inside the case beats the automatic Longines caliber L899.5, with a monocrystalline silicon balance-spring and equipped with a moon phase and date indicator. Unfortunately it is not visible but the screw-down steel case back shows a yellow gold with blue engraved image of a ship symbolizing the Flagship series. The power reserve is 72 hours.
Each dial variant of the Longines Flagship Heritage Moon Phase comes with a matching leather strap: grey, brown or blue.
