Longines is set to add new models to its Master Collection, the Longines Master Collection 40 mm Bi-material. Also available in 34 millimeters. This range allows for a more diverse appeal, catering to different wrist sizes and style preferences. For materials, Longines offers stainless steel cases for the 34 models and bi-material options in both.

These bi-material cases feature a combination of stainless steel with either yellow gold or rose gold, adding a touch of contrast to the design. The inclusion of gold extends to the crown and bracelet (if you’re not buying the leather strap option), enhancing the overall cohesive look.

Simple but elegant dial design

The new models in the Master Collection feature a sandblasted silver dial with engraved Arabic numerals. A design originally introduced in 2022 to celebrate Longines’ 190^th anniversary. The numerals are available in yellow gilt, or rose gilt, depending on the model. The hour and minute hands are executed in yellow or rose gilt to match the case accents.

One notable feature is the dial’s clean and uncluttered layout, which provides a clear and legible display of time. The dotted minute track, engraved on the flange, further enhances the dial’s streamlined appearance.

The Longines Master Collection 40 mm Bi-material has a power reserve of 72 hours

Powering these watches is Longines’ exclusive caliber L888.5, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The movement incorporates a silicon balance spring, providing magnetic resistance that exceeds the ISO 764 standard by tenfold. The oscillating weight, visible through the transparent case back, is plated in either yellow gold, or rose gold, depending on the case material.

Buyers have a choice between bi-material bracelets or leather straps in brown or green. The straps are designed for comfort and feature a triple-safety folding clasp operated by a pusher for easy wearability.
