The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Automatic Bronze is the latest addition to the Aikon series, this time, in a special metal. Bronze indeed. The brand originally launched the Aikon collection in 2016 with a design inspired by the Calypso of the 1990s. Bronze is often a little more special so it is a limited edition of 888 pieces.

Watches commonly come on steel, gold, or titanium; however bronze is durable as well. And over time it gets its own patina. This bronze model has a 42-millimeter case, with a thickness of 11 millimeters. The dial is smoked brown featuring a Clous-de-Paris pattern with a fume gradient. The rose gold-plated hands and indices with white super-luminova form a matching contrast with the dial color. The indexes and logo are from 4N gold, so is the seconds hand, the hour and minute hands are 4N gold PVD.
