The Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver 2024 shows two new versions: one in bronze and one in stainless steel with black diamond-like coating (DLC). Basically, the bronze version is not new, it only has a new dial color. As the new series of the Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver that was released last year already has a bronze version. That model with reference PT6248-BRZ0B-430-4 has a blue dial, the 2024 version in bronze comes with a black dial.

Is the black DLC new then? Kind of. The black DLC has a stainless steel case (and back), just like last year’s steel versions, also with a black dial. But now with a black diamond-like coating. Still, both 2024 models are a nice addition to the collection of this diver. Which has a special diving bezel, as it is mounted internally, on top of the dial, and can be operated by the pusher at 2 o’clock.

The Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver 2024 has a power reserve of 38 hours

Inside runs a Sellita caliber SW200-1 based movement with ML treatment: the Maurice Lacroix caliber ML115. It’s not the most modern one with a power reserve of 38 hours, but the SW200 is one of the most used and proven calibers with hours-minutes-seconds-date. You can never go wrong with this one.

The Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver 2024 comes on a vintage brown leather strap with bronze pin buckle if you go for the bronze version. The black DLC version comes on a black rubber strap with sandblasted black DLC pin buckle. Only the bronze is a limited edition of 888 pieces.
