The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Blue is the newest incarnation of the HM8 Mark 2 series. After a representation of two editions last year in green and white, the new model features a sapphire blue bodywork. It is limited to 33 pieces only, just like the green and white one.
MB&F often gets its inspiration from cars, when it comes to materials, design, and shapes. So, this new Mark 2 has a titanium case with CarbonMacrolon, a material developed specifically for MB&F. It is a solid material that is hard and can be colored and polished, this time with a new shade of blue. If you look closely, you can see is has a metallic finish, just like the paint on cars.
The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Blue has a power reserve of 42 hours
On top is a supercar-like sapphire crystal cover revealing the gold automatic winding rotor, while at the back it features the bridges and the Mark 2 logo. The watch is equipped with a three-dimensional movement with a digital time indication, with jumping hours and trailing minutes. The power reserve is 42 hours.
The MB&F HM8 Mark 2 Blue comes on a white calfskin leather strap with an additional rubber strap. Both secured with a titanium buckle.
