The most sporty watch of the German brand gets a full black make-over with the Meistersinger Unomat Black. The two new references, with blue or with orange accents, are limited to 50 pieces each. And yes, they are one-handed, so read the time from the 5-minute track on the dial.
The 43-millimeter blackened DLC case with blue accents is an international oriented edition. The orange one is dedicated for watch enthusiasts of the Netherlands. As the Dutch national football team wears orange, a nod to the family name of the royal family of the Netherlands: “Van Oranje”. Which means “from Orange”, a city in France which is connected to the ancestors of the Dutch royal family since the year 1530. Who have their roots in Germany by the way, coincidently just like Meistersinger…
The Meistersinger Unomat Black has a power reserve of 38 hours
This Unomat runs on the Sellita caliber SW400-1, which is an SW200-1 but then larger for watches with a larger case. Otherwise the date window would end up in the middle of the dial. The automatic movement is adjusted for use with just one hand, and it also features a date. It is packed in a soft iron cage to make it more anti-magnetic, and the power reserve is about 38 hours.
The Meistersinger Unomat Black comes on a rubber strap, in arctic blue or orange with a black coated stainless steel pin buckle.
